spazmatic mashups and mixes

Marvin Gaye & Mary Wells + Album Leaf + The Carpenters

Vintage Marvin Gaye combined with hipster favorite The Album Leaf, transforms a rhythm & blues duet into an indie-tronic ballad.
I also added a lil bit of Carpenters for spacey background vocals. definitely the most mellow mashup I’ve even done..

Marvin Gaye & Mary Wells - What’s The Matter With You Baby
The Album Leaf - Broken Arrow
The Carpenters - Sing

quite a favorable review from the fine folks over at Pitchfork
I even got an email from Jimmy LaValle saying he really digs this mix

Downloaded this mix over a year ago and I still absolutely adore it, most played on my itunes by a long way. The best mashup around, amazing work. please follow this up with more like this!
