mashup spring cleaning: M.I.A. vs. Rare Earth

May is mashup spring cleaning month.
Over the past year I’ve done alot of mashups that have slipped through the cracks and did not get released. This month I’ll be going through my mashup closet and uploading the good stuff.
Here’s the first one..

    wow, one of the best mashups I’ve heard, though not my favorite to listen to. The quality of mixing is far superior on this than most. Clean transitions and a true feeling that it is really a produced sound from the master tracks. Great job.

    Excellent job. Very talented-I like mashups with classic rock songs. Any Hendrix mashups in the works?

    I just have to tell you that this is one of my all-time favorite mash ups. Removing the gun-shots from the M.I.A. makes it better to play in the clubs and I love the Rare Earth song so it’s a mash made in Heaven. Much respect and praise to you. Happy Cinco de Mayo, amigo.

    Love this one. I use a lot of you mash-ups in my spin classes and this one is a winner. I have used each of these songs separately in many classes - this is fantastic.
